Formworks for Concrete Casting

Since 2011, IIA has entered a strategic partnership with Nikken Kogaku Co., Ltd. (Japan) to manufacture formworks for RAKUNA-IV armor blocks in Vietnam.

The RAKUNA-IV is a patented armor block developed by Nikken Kogaku, widely used in breakwater construction projects.

To date, IIA has manufactured formwork for RAKUNA-IV blocks for several major projects, including:

  • Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Complex Project (Thanh Hoa), breakwater completed in 2015
  • Van Phong Thermal Power Plant Project (Khanh Hoa), breakwater completed in 2021
  • Chan May Port Project (Thua Thien Hue), Phase 1 breakwater completed in 2020; Phase 2 currently under construction and scheduled for completion by 2025
  • Lien Chieu Port Project (Da Nang), currently under construction and scheduled for completion by 2025

The RAKUNA-IV armor blocks produced for these projects in Vietnam vary in weight from 8 tons to 40 tons, meeting diverse technical requirements and project scales.The formwork products manufactured by IIA boast high precision, comply with stringent technical standards set by the Japanese partner, and offer outstanding durability with the ability to be reused multiple times. Our products have been highly evaluated by domestic and international contractors for their durability, stability, and efficiency during construction.
